A complete heavy-duty lift kit for foot-end opening ottoman and storage beds. The long 1200 mm top frame supports the mattress platform along its length, while the gas struts take the effort out of lifting, giving easy access to the storage space underneath.

• 1 × left-hand lift mechanism and 1 × right-hand lift mechanism
• 2 × gas struts (530 mm)
• 8 × M8 × 50 mm bolts
• 8 × M8 nylon-insert locking nuts
• 4 × M8 flange nuts

Check Compatibility Before You Order

• This is a foot-end opening mechanism. It is not suitable for side-opening beds.
• Choose by weight, not just bed size: the platform and mattress together must not exceed 70 kg.
• The bottom rails need solid side panels to fix to, and the top frames fix to the underside of the platform.
• Replacing an existing mechanism? Compare the frame length and hole positions with your old one first.

Installation Tips

• Fit the mechanisms first, attach the platform, then fit the gas struts with the bed open.
• Install the gas struts with the piston rod facing down.
• Always test with the mattress fitted – the struts are balanced against its weight.
• Two people are recommended for fitting.
