External vs Internal Circlips

Fitting Tips
- Use circlip pliers in the lug holes — never lever a circlip off with a screwdriver.
- Expand the clip only as much as needed to pass over the shaft, so it keeps its grip.
- Check the circlip sits fully in the groove all the way round before use.
