The long-thread version of our most popular M8/10mm ball stud — same precision-turned M8 thread and 10mm ball as our standard BS3-13 stud, but with a longer 25mm thread (42.2mm total length) for thicker brackets, box-section frames and deeper mounting points.

How is this different from the standard BS3-13 ball stud? Same M8 thread and 10mm ball — this version simply has a longer 25mm thread (42.2mm total length) for thicker brackets or extra standoff. If your bracket is standard thickness, our standard BS3-13 stud will fit.
Do I need a specific bracket? Any M8 clearance hole (8.5-9mm) works. See our bracket collection if you need matching brackets.
What if my strut socket is 13mm? Use our BS4 M8/13mm ball stud instead — sockets and balls must match exactly.
Is a locking nut included? No — nuts are sold separately. Nyloc lock nuts recommended.
