• Remove the old cylinder from the base and seat mechanism, then press-fit the new one firmly.
• Install/use in the standard orientation (as shown on most chairs).

Gas lifts are pressurised. Do not puncture or heat the cylinder. Take care during removal/installation and keep fingers clear of pinch points.
